Staff were outstanding, very friendly and helpful. The pousada is charming and well organised. It is close to the sea front with a wide range of restaurants. The swimming pool was a good size for a pousada of this type and as it is in sunshine for much of the day was warm. The breakfast area is next to the swimming pool, creating an pleasant atmosphere both for familes, like us, and romantic couples alike.
The swimming pool was officially shut after 8pm until 10am next day, we felt that it could have opened earlier and shut a little later.

When we arrived here we were not in a really good mood, as it was raining and the town didnt make a really good impression. But the person (Camilla) in the lobby was so friendly and smiling that we were smiling after some minutes as well. I have to say we arrived out of the season and there were only two other guys in the hotel, but all the attention of the people were on us. The owner an Italian came to say hi as well and was ready to help us with planning our day etc. at once. When it was time to leave he brought us to the busstation with his own car, bought the tickets for us, as we are not speaking portugise and waited until we were save in the bus. In this moment it was just unbelievable kindness!!!

The staff at the hotel are amazing, and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The owner is often onsite and makes you feel very welcome. Both he and one of the girls on reception (Camila) speak excellent English. The hotel has beautiful grounds and the breakfast overlooking these and the pool are great. Since our first visit to this hotel in February we have been back and stayed on another 2 occassions as we enjoy it that much. The hotel is located close to the sea front and many restaurants and shops. Around the pool are very comfortable sun loungers with umberellas and there are hammocks to relax in. The hotel is great and I will miss it when I go back home.
The only negative comment I have is that there are alot of insects due to the gardens so take your bug spray.

Great surprise !!! Beautiful garden, very clean, comfortable with excellent bed and good breakfast included in the rate. Internet worked properly in the lobby. If the weather is not good just stay talking with Pietro, the owner, to share his life experience. If you visit Ubatuba this is the right place for your stay with great value of money.
Pietro is arranging internet repeater to extend internet signal to the rooms.

I really like to stay in this pousada, the room was confortable and I really enjoyed the big garden in the hotel which is a sort of green oasis in the middle of the city. A great quality of this pousada is its incredibly friendly owner which really made us feeling like at home!

The location is great. It is very close to the beach and it is between the city's aquarium and the Projeto Tamar. The staff was very helpful in pointing us on where to visit. The breakfast was very good.
The room smelled a little damp and there were some random ants in the bathroom.

Great place, beatifull gardening, outstanding services provided by all employees and Mr. Pietro ... all were so kind, providing valuable information about food, places to go and beaches. Really enjoied this Pousada, we feel like home ! Close to restaurants, and main touristic places by foot. Best beaches for swiming are out of walking range - a car is necessary, otherwise you have to get a bus or taxi.
We like everything - but there is one helpfull information: parking area inside the Pousada is small, so if it is full you might have to leave your car outside (area is safe).
